DJI Mavic Air 2 Firmware update V01.00.0340 released to the public

I was just talking earlier regarding the new DJI Fly App update from Google Play Store and right now, I was amazed that DJI released a new firmware for the Mavic Air 2 and it is the version 01.00.0340. So, below is the changelog of the firmware:

·         Added Safely Flight Mode. The aircraft avoids obstacles automatically and will not respond to commands to fly left or right

·         Added 4k Zoom mode, which supports 3x digital zoom when set to 4k 30/25/24 fps

·         Added 3x digital zoom when set to 2.7k 60/50/48/30/25/24 and 4x digital zoom when set to 1080P 60/50/48/30/25/24 in video mode.

·         Added 4k resolution in Hyperlapse

·         Optimized FPV mode for gimbal

·         Optimized shooting performance when flying in Sport Mode. Adjust the flight attitude to avoid propellers unexpectedly showing up in the camera view

·         Optimized Hyperlapse. Added ability to pause shooting during Hyperlapse, increased the number of waypoints to 45, and added support for Task Library

·         Optimized Active Track when tracking vehicles at low altitude

What like most on this new firmware is the ability to zoom while shooting 4k, 2.7k and 1080P resolution and also the added support for Task Library. Just like what I wished for, us to be able to save our waypoints on Hyperlapse so we can access it again for later use. I am still on the process of downloading the firmware on my DJI Mavic Air 2 and I haven’t tried these new features yet. I will update this post soon once the downloading is finished and I could be able to fly my drone.
